Albergo Hotel and Suites

At Albergo Hotel and Suites-Lagos, the welcoming atmosphere, beautiful decor, and delicious food all made a strong impression. The service was professional, and the staff paid close attention to detail, exceeding what I expected. Kingsley deserves a special mention for his personal attention and care. He was always helpful and went above and beyond. Rachael, Anita, and Miriam also made the stay memorable and rewarding. I’m extremely pleased with the experience and will definitely see Albergo Hotel again. ~Dr. Barbara Franklin, USA

I stayed at Albergo Hotel for 10 days in Nigeria with my wife, children, and extended family for a family event. We had three suites or rooms in total at different times. The hotel is beautiful, and most of the people we dealt with worked hard to provide good service. That included the concierge, porters, kitchen, breakfast, restaurant and bar teams, and day and night management. Overall, we had a fairly pleasant stay. The biggest problems were booking and coordination at the front desk. Reservations seemed to be handled over WhatsApp, but the person in charge lacked the responsiveness and attention to detail the role requires. Messages often went unanswered for days, invoices had errors, and replies about urgent matters were brief and unhelpful. When we arrived, the front desk also seemed unsure about our booking details, causing avoidable confusion. Albergo clearly aims for high standards, and many staff members do their best to meet them. Still, problems in reservations and front desk coordination affected our experience. We were mostly happy with the stay, would come back, and would recommend the hotel, in the hope that these issues are reviewed and addressed.

Whenever I’m in Naija, this has been my home away from home for years. It’s beautiful and amazing.

Things were going well at this hotel until a cleaner stole my jewellery a night or two before checkout. That ruined my whole travel and lodging experience. Management still hasn’t given me any feedback about trying to retrieve the item.
