Ocean Park Hotel Lekki Phase 1

The rooms are nice, and the staff were pleasant. The location is convenient and easy to get to, but the place wasn't ventilated well and smelled bad. They could improve the service and the atmosphere.

The room and bathroom were both spacious, and the breakfast included with my room was decent. Unlike other hotels in this price range where bathrooms can feel cramped, this one had plenty of room. Dumebi at reception was especially helpful, and the staff were friendly overall. I liked the place and would book again if I needed somewhere to stay. I checked the price and payment with the hotel directly first because reviews said the online price could differ. My main complaint was the mosquitoes and little flies in the room. I hope they sort that out.

The room smelled so bad we had to spray perfume in the air just to breathe comfortably. The walls were stained and slimy, and the water smelled awful too. There wasn't any running water in the bathroom, so we had to beg for water to bathe. They weren't answering calls, and I had to go downstairs twice to complain. The receptionist was so rude, and wasn't even at her desk most of the time. It was a traumatic experience, and I really don't recommend this place. I hope management addresses that receptionist's attitude. If you doubt me, try it yourself.

The place is nice, but we couldn't bathe because there was no water. It took two hours of going back and forth before any came. They also said there was no diesel to run the generator, and the receptionist still had an attitude.
