The rooms are a good size, with reliable electricity around the clock and good internet. I also liked the clean pool, tennis court, and gazebo where you can relax. My only issue is that some bathrooms on the inner terraces have no windows.

It feels homely, with everything you need, and there was always someone on site to help. The place is beautiful, clean, spacious, and quiet, and the customer service was friendly around the clock. We had a great four-week stay, close to everything we needed, with a good place to rest and enjoy our holiday.

We had a great base for visiting Lagos and the surrounding area at The GilGal. It isn't exactly cheap, but the experience was great. They kept the electricity on 24 hours, despite diesel costs and the unreliable grid. The staff were wonderful and made sure we had what we needed, even bringing pizza as a gift for the kids. Our three-bedroom apartment was spacious and had lots of facilities for a comfortable stay. The property is in a lovely, peaceful, secure setting that's easy to reach, with a tennis court, pool, and gym. A few gym machines weren't working, but there was still enough to get a good workout.

I first stayed at Gilgal in 2017 and came back this December. It's a lovely apartment in a peaceful setting, with a back ocean view. The pool is beautiful, the court is nice, and the workers are great. It feels like a home away from home.
