I paid 50 thousand for a standard room, which felt overpriced. The location is great, though, with a bank, ATM, market, and lots of places to eat nearby. The room was okay. They provided one towel, but you can ask for more, and toiletries were included. There was warm water the whole time, and the AC stayed on. The other thing that bothered me was a door somewhere in the hallway. It made a screeching sound whenever it opened.

My first visit left me disappointed, but they've put in a lot of work since the renovation and things have improved. The rooms are very neat, the staff are polite, and the security guys are awesome. Rates have come down a little and are still very affordable. There's also a spa for a massage after a stressful day, plus a kitchen open 24 hours. If you want an affordable hotel in Lekki near the road with the basic amenities, except for a swimming pool, this is the one I'd recommend.

The food was good, the rooms were nice, and the service was excellent. I had a great experience at Villa 33. Just be prepared for the smelly gutters in Lekki Phase 1.
