The restaurant meal was a letdown. We went for dinner after the spa, waited a long time for the food, and the appetizers tasted freezer burnt. The main dishes were okay, just not good enough to bring me back. Our waiter was lovely, though, and apologized for how the visit went. Oriki spa was great. It had a calm atmosphere and professional staff, and I’d definitely recommend going.

The hotel smelled as soon as I walked in, and I couldn’t even finish the room tour. What I saw didn’t match the images at all. I’d made a reservation through their Google page but never got confirmation, though I still went ahead to check in. Looking back, maybe God was trying to save me. The front desk needs training, and the questions they asked were out of line. Dear Americans, I don’t recommend it. I believe the reviews are fake.

The extra bed in the room wasn’t fit for purpose, which really brought down what was otherwise a reasonable service. Communication with the reception staff was poor, and their nonchalant attitude left a sour taste at checkout. That’s why I can’t give the hotel more than three stars.

I won’t be coming back. I paid promptly after booking a room and receiving confirmation for my chosen dates, then was told without warning that the price had changed and they wouldn’t honor the reservation. For an establishment claiming this standard, the lack of accountability and basic customer service is unacceptable. It felt unprofessional and unethical, and I expected much better.
