The Paradise Beach Resort and Apartment

We couldn't relax at all because construction was going on around us, with grinders and hammering the whole time. The pool water was still and didn't seem to be cleaned or filtered regularly, so under the hot sun it warmed up quickly and wasn't refreshing to swim in. The place is falling apart and poorly maintained, from the dirty poolside floors to the very old, rusty, broken furniture. They also don't tell you the full cost upfront, charging separately for entrance and pool use. It was a terrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend visiting.

They said they'd refund 75% of what we paid, but never did. When we followed up, they told us management and all the staff had changed and they knew nothing about it. We'd booked four rooms, and none was suitable to stay in: there was no working AC or clean running water. We had to leave after an hour. This place used to be good. What a shame.

It's easy to find, right by the beach next to another beach hotel, though I wouldn't call either place a resort. The car park is well lit and security is adequate. Food and drinks are available, but they're relatively expensive, and the corkage fee is high enough to discourage bringing your own. The pool is heavily chlorinated.

I came back because the service had been good months earlier, but this visit has put me off returning. Food and drink prices have doubled or more since then. Swimming was 3k just last month, and I heard it's now 10k. Why? Don't take advantage of the season and try to extort customers. You can't keep customers that way. That's my honest review.
