Valley Point Hotel & Suites

There are several good things here: the receptionist, the view from the window, the building, the access, and the bar. A few things could be improved, though. Some of the air conditioners may need a gas refill, and something seems to be blocking the flow between some water heaters and their outlets, so getting warm water is difficult.

The rooms felt cramped, and the sheets and covers seemed old enough that I couldn't relax in bed. The air conditioning worked in my first room but not the second, which also smelled musty, so I opened the window. I enjoyed the kitchen's food, and there's a nice bar on the ground floor, though the nearby pool didn't seem to be in use. There aren't any escalators, but I didn't mind because I like taking the stairs.

The pool and gym were part of my daily routine, and I was impressed by how clean the hotel was. It's in a quiet area, and the welcome from the staff made me feel very comfortable. I was back in Nigeria after two years and stayed in one of the suites. The restaurant was handy, the food was delicious, room service was great, and the staff were very polite. I'd love to return soon, try an apartment, and enjoy more of the hotel's luxury.

The kids had a great time swimming, even though there was only one float available. The lifeguard inflated ours with his lips. The bathroom situation was terribly nasty and needs a serious upgrade and constant cleaning. The food was great, and the service was excellent.
