At around 1am, a staff member used a master key to open our room door while I was in the bathroom and my partner was alone in the room. He said he was doing a “night check” because the room showed as vacant and my name wasn't on the list, even though we'd been staying there for almost 3 weeks. My partner was frightened and confused, and tried to ask what was happening while quickly covering herself because she wasn't fully dressed. The staff member didn't apologize or close the door. He stayed at the entrance and started calling reception. We were both shaken and traumatized, and couldn't sleep afterward because we no longer felt safe in the room. The interior room lock also doesn't properly stop someone from entering from outside, which is a serious privacy and safety concern. Mistakes can happen, but the way this was handled at Full Moon Hotels was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable for a hotel of this standard.

The staff, including Destiny and Divine, were great, and the hotel is right in the middle of Owerri. There was no Wi-Fi at all, which was the only problem. I’d definitely stay there again next year.

Full moon hotel is in a peaceful spot, and the rates are affordable. If you want a private lounge, it could be a good choice, with a nice environment too.

The setting is serene, and the hotel feels quite classic. A nice place to stay whenever I’m in Owerri.

I had a good stay and found the staff nice. The hotel is somewhat cut off from amenities, though, so you’ll need a car or some other transport.
