Lakewood Hotels

From the night of the 31st until the morning of the 1st, I was killing mosquitoes and even missed crossover service. There was no WiFi, and breakfast never came even after I called to ask. None of the numbers in the room for contacting them would connect. The dust in the room nearly did me in, so please clean the doors, especially in room 108. My vacation was ruined. Lakewood, una don see me finish.

It’s a nice place if you’re on a low budget. I stayed there around my wedding, and got my makeup and dress done there before leaving for the church service on my white wedding day.

Outside, the sewage lines around the property leave a bad smell and seem to attract rodents and mosquitoes. The staff’s attitude made an even worse impression. All of them acted rudely, as though they had issues with customers, and it was hard to meet anyone who wasn’t condescending. Poor overall. Better management and facilities could help make up for the difficult surroundings.

The hotel is affordable, in a secure area, and the electricity is fairly steady. Food is cheap, though it can be stale. My five-day stay had serious problems with cleanliness: the room, bedsheet and toilet were dirty when we arrived, the fan was filthy, and the AC blew dirty air. The cleaners never came to our room, and the duvet they gave us smelled and wasn’t standard. They also didn’t have one for the cold. The receptionist was friendly, but the workers’ appearance wasn’t pleasant. He showed me the room barefoot. The landline was no use since the different units hardly picked up. The kitchen got my order wrong twice. When I said I wouldn’t take the wrong food, the worker claimed my choice wasn’t available, then served it after seeing I was upset. She kept sizing me up like I was a bother, though it was her job. Food came on plastic plates, which didn’t seem right. On my last night, a cockroach crawled on me, and I fought mosquitoes from 4 until dawn. The kitchen needs to improve its customer service and the way it prepares and serves food, whoever is ordering.
