After a stressful day, the peaceful atmosphere and pool are a welcome break. The beds are especially comfortable, with soft pillows that help you unwind. It’s a beautiful, clean hotel with plenty of comforts that make it feel like home. The staff are friendly and professional, and the surroundings are lovely both inside and outside.

Set in a peaceful spot in the heart of Port Harcourt, Vhelberg Imperial Hotel has richly finished, well-furnished rooms and a green, well-kept environment. They have power around the clock and serve tasty Nigerian and continental dishes. Customer service is a strong point, too. It feels like a comfortable home away from home.

The food is good, and the service is okay. I really liked the soft, light pillows and duvet. Housekeeping could do a better job with overall cleanliness, though, and the place may need a revamp before too long. The door frames are also a shame for anyone who's very tall.

The calm setting, security, decent food, and budget-friendly price were positives. The rooms were disappointing and missing basic things I'd expect at a hotel. Customer service was poor, and some cleaners also served food. The managers seemed to run the place like their own shop. After my experience there on 25/7/2020, I was left wondering how I ended up staying there.

The food was so poor that you could even end up purging after eating it. I'd suggest eating somewhere else and only coming back to sleep in the room. I wouldn't recommend a long stay here. Just my honest opinion.
