The decor looked beautiful, and we really did enjoy the pool, but the place wasn't working properly. There was old soap left in the shower, so we had to ask for the bed to be changed and the bathroom cleaned as soon as we checked the room. About 15 minutes after we arrived, the lights went out, and that kept happening throughout our stay. The air conditioner also kept switching on and off, and there was no running water in the morning. We were only there because of an event, otherwise we would have gone somewhere else. We paid 65,000, then they asked for another 10,000, and there wasn't even complimentary breakfast. Not good, especially for 65,000.

The place has lots of space, and I liked how roomy the restroom was. The room was decent too. I stayed in the room just above the standard one, if you know what I mean. The noodles were prepared well, and the customer service was good.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the setting has a nice feel to it. They still need to sort out reliable 24-hour electricity, though. Better marketing and publicity could also bring more visitors to the hotel.

For an affordable stay in Ilaro, I think this is about as good as it gets. The food, drinks, rooms, atmosphere, service, and parking were all good, and everything was working when I visited, at least as far as I could tell. There’s still room to improve, but IBD Hotel, Ilaro did better than I expected.

I had a really enjoyable stay. The room was comfortable, the meals were delicious, and the staff gave us a warm welcome. The surroundings are beautiful too. I’ll definitely stay there again when I’m in the area. 😊
