Mamma Chare Hotel

I had a bad stay, and the room maintenance was 0/10. The AC didn’t work when I arrived. There were spider webs, cobwebs and spiders in the toilet, while the bin had used condom wrappers and a tea bag in it. The kettle was dirty too, luckily I checked before trying to use it. I hope management does better to keep the hotel going.

I really enjoyed my stay at mamma hotel yola, located at karewa GRA jimeta yola. The environment was comfortable, with 24/7 electricity, free WiFi and complimentary breakfast. They also have an executive hall, restaurant and laundry service, and the staff are competitive.

I’m a regular guest because I love clean spaces, and I really hope management takes this seriously. The bedsheets and rooms are clean, but the toilets are getting very dirty. The shower taps have foam and spots left from previous guests, there’s accumulated dirt and stains with mold on the wall tiles, and the shower curtains are changing colour. The taps are dirty too, and the toilets need a small revamp. I’ve complained twice, and the same problem was there on my next visit, so I even paid a cleaner to wash my toilet. I have pictures that show what I mean, and I’m posting this in the hope the owner sees it. Please get cleaners who know how to clean toilets and pay attention to details. It’s a beautiful place with nice rooms, warm reception and good food, but these cleaning issues could make it lose its value.

This is a very decent hotel in Yola, and even though it’s new, the service is great. Please keep up this standard. And to guests who trash hotels, I beg you to go somewhere else.
