I felt safe staying here as a solo female traveler, and the family, especially Gianny, were super friendly. Getting to see how lovely they are was a highlight. The room was clean, the bed really comfortable, and the shower was beautiful. Common areas were kept clean too. The beach is just steps away and everything in Popoyo is close. I wasn't very social, but it was easy to meet people around town. I'd definitely come back!

Giancarlo put together a perfect surf package for us, and Norlan makes the best breakfast. We had a lovely stay with Giancarlo and his family, in a nice room with AC and a good mattress.

Nolan & Gian Carlo were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The place has a great location, nice rooms with aircon, and a great kitchen. Lovely spot in Popoyo, would 100% recommend it!

This is a surfers' dream if you're here to focus on surfing and improve. The main popoyo break is a quick walk down the beach, and the beach break right out front is only ten seconds away. Gianni is a fantastic host, surf guide, and coach. He treated us like family and went above and beyond to keep us comfortable. He can also arrange epic boat trips. Breakfast was delicious, the rooms were cleaned daily, and Norlan takes great care of the property. It's not a party house, so look elsewhere if that's what you want. I'll be back every year.

Juan was really friendly and did more than expected to make sure I was happy there. There are three nice rooms, two with A/C and one with fans. I booked a surf package, and everything was organized for me while still staying flexible. You can fit two lessons into one day if you want. Juan built up the surf shop and is a national coach for the Nicaraguan team, so staying here has perks if you want lessons or tips 😉
