Casa del Consulado

We’d definitely return. The common area is beautiful, and our room was spacious and really comfortable. The hotel is near many of the main attractions, with an ATM just around the corner. The staff made our stay in Granada a pleasure. They were patient, quick to help, and great with transportation, breakfast, our questions, bags, and checkout.

The shower had perfect water pressure and hot water, and both the room and bathroom were large. Breakfast was included and delicious. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and we could walk to lots of good restaurants. Parking right on the street in front was easy. The hotel has a clean, well-kept colonial style.

Jaime, our host, really made the stay. He was warm and attentive, and his personal recommendations made us feel at home. I spent five nights at Hotel Casa Consulado, a beautiful early 19th-century colonial property. The architecture is well preserved, with charming courtyards, a lovely pool, elegant decor, and thoughtful furnishings with authentic touches throughout. I’ll definitely be back.

The restaurant area is about a five-minute walk away. This is one of the three better hotels off Central Park, and I’d highly recommend it. The hotel has a beautiful historic colonial style, comfortable rooms, a courtyard pool, and a great breakfast. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
