Los Patios felt incredibly safe, and it’s only a couple of blocks from popular restaurants and bars, with the lake just a short walk away. My parents and I came to Nicaragua to surf and volunteer in Salinas Grandes, then explored Granada near the end of our trip on our friends’ recommendation. We stayed two nights, and Xiomara was so welcoming and helpful. Her Nica breakfast was the best we had on the whole trip. The rooms had huge, comfortable beds and spacious showers, and the cold pool was perfect for cooling off several times a day. The boutique hotel is really well styled, with several spots to relax, including a hammock, a stylish sectional by the pool and nicely decorated seating areas. We’ll absolutely come back to Los Patios, and plan to bring the whole family.

Xiomara made the stay special. She arranged trips to the volcano and nearby lakes, got my laundry done quickly, and always greeted me with a smile. It was clear she really cared about her guests. Los Patios itself is stunning, peaceful and full of charm, with beautiful decor. My room was spacious and spotless, and I could see the volcano right from the window. There are lovely little corners for reading, resting or chatting with other travellers. It felt like a friend’s beautiful home more than a hostel. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Granada. One of the highlights of my trip!

Los Patios is a little oasis, and we loved our room with its stunning volcano view. We only got to spend one night there, sadly, but Xiomara took great care of us and made us feel so welcome. We need to return for a longer stay.

The complimentary breakfast was so good, with eggs, beans and rice, plus plenty of fruit, coffee and juice. I was almost hesitant to order anything else. Xiomara and the team were great hosts, and helped organize transfers and tours. The space is peaceful and thoughtfully designed, a relaxing spot just a short walk from all the action. Thanks to Xiomara and her family, all the best!

The furnishings are beautiful, and the customer service was world-class. Breakfast was perfect too. Ten stars! Highly recommend, and I’ll come back and tell others about it. ❤️
