Hotel Casa Cubana

My wife and I stayed here for a week and used it as our base for exploring other parts of Nicaragua during our two-week trip. It felt very private and independent, and everything was clean. Shops, cafes and restaurants are within a half-mile walk, and the malecón is about a 20-minute walk, a nice stroll through the town center. The service was exceptional. The all-women staff were friendly and professional, and Maria, the property manager, was extremely nice and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and homemade each morning. Drinks are available from the fridge on an honor system, with a clipboard to mark what you take. The colonial property is stunning, right in the heart of Granada, and the photos don’t do it justice. Rooms are large and bright, with A/C and hot water. The quiet compound has two courtyards, one with a pool big enough for a family, plus plenty of sofas, chairs, hammocks and other places to lounge. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant. We’ll definitely return.

The manager was so friendly and helpful, and made all our requests about the room, breakfast and parking possible. We enjoyed the hotel a lot, especially the good breakfast with fresh eggs and really good coffee. Thanks so much for everything! We’ll definitely come back to this beautiful place, with its lovely rooms and bathroom and amazing courtyard pool.

The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are clean, the beds are nice, and we had a lovely view of Grenada from our room. There’s a nice kitchen and fridge guests can use, and the pool is good for adults, with room to swim short laps. Breakfast was good, and they can arrange tours. Excellent service and a good location. This might be the best spot I’ve stayed at in Grenada. I’ll recommend it to friends and family. Cute cat, too!

Only six rooms make this place quaint, and breakfast is set out family style, so you get to know the other guests. The location is just right, close enough to walk to the central park but far enough away to avoid the noise. We liked it so much that we came back to Granada hoping to book another two nights, but it was full, so we could stay only one. The rooms are large and comfortable, with fluffy towels, which we didn’t get anywhere else, and a hair dryer in the first room, something that wasn’t common elsewhere. The kitchen is available if you want to cook dinner, though we didn’t, and we used the fridge for water and beer. Nohelia is extremely friendly and provides great customer service. We’ll definitely be back.
