Hotel El Reith Lake Granada Nicaragua

We had excellent food and service at the restaurant. My uncle had “discovered” this place by chance and took me there as a treat. You park on the mainland, then the hotel boat brings you to the island. The resort feels world-class, with all the five-star amenities. You can stay there, eat at the restaurant, and I believe they offer a day pass. As we were leaving, we met the manager, Moises, who was super friendly and had a staff member show us some rooms, including the biggest suite on the third floor. Wow! If you want an entire hotel for you and your guests, this would be perfect for a destination wedding. If you’re in the area and want a higher level of hospitality, find it and visit!

Getting to Hotel El Reith in Granada was easy, and the sunsets over the lake were spectacular. I looked forward to the evenings, when the golden light made the views feel peaceful and captivating. The hotel also makes it easy to relax or be active, with an inviting pool, kayaking, and lake tours. The rooms were comfortable, nicely decorated, and well maintained, a cozy place to return to after exploring. The restaurant was another highlight, serving excellent food made with local ingredients and a varied menu showcasing Nicaraguan flavors. Dining there felt like a treat. It’s a good setting for a trip with family or friends, with comfortable accommodation, activities, and good food. I found it a convenient, beautiful place that worked for both adventure and quiet time.

Such a shame. Having a nice hotel and surroundings doesn’t matter much if the service is this slow. My food took almost an hour and twenty minutes, and the kids’ lunch took even longer. Then I waited another hour for chile, another hour for a glass of water, and I’m still waiting for the coffee I ordered.

The food is excellent, especially the grilled meat and octopus, and the staff are service minded. It’s peaceful, with kayaks and pedal boats you can take out for a lovely self-guided trip among the small islands. Rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the thick duvet had me sleeping like a baby. In short, this is a gem. Es un lugar excelente!
