The rooms aren't luxurious, but they're clean, roomy, and well equipped, with reliable hot water. There isn't a fridge or hairdryer in the room, though the hotel provided both whenever we asked. The staff were helpful and friendly as soon as we arrived, helped us park the car, and quickly brought anything else we needed. It's just a few minutes' walk to the main square. Highly recommend.

Hotel Patio del Malinche was such a cozy, cute place to stay. My family and I loved the tasty breakfast, and the staff made us feel really welcome. It's close to everything in the city, which made exploring easy. We'd definitely stay again.

We stayed for two weeknights in March 2026, and the service was excellent. Communication before arrival was good, and check-in went smoothly. We booked a Masaya volcano tour on the day we arrived. The rooms were nothing special, but had hot water, AC, and a very small TV. The pool and breakfast were great. Parking was very close by and cost $5/night separately.

The staff were incredibly kind and willing to go out of their way to help. They even accommodated a later breakfast time because I work at night. Before my stay, they answered my questions quickly on WhatsApp. On arrival, they told me there was a problem in my room caused by the previous guests, showed me other rooms, and let me decide. I stayed in the original room and they gave me a discount for the issue. The gardens and swimming pool are beautiful, and the rooms are extremely clean, which matters a lot to me because I have a dust allergy.
