voco Lake Nicaragua Granada by IHG

This was the first stop on our four-part trip, and we really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, and having a patio to watch the fireworks from was key. The water pressure and temperature were a little lacking, but the two pools made up for it.

The pools are small, but just the right size and really clean. Rooms were clean, with cozy, comfy beds that felt sturdy and comfortable pillows. The staff were nice and accommodating. I'd definitely stay here again 💯❤️

Loved our stay here. It's right in the city center, feels very safe, and is easy to get around on foot. The rooms and amenities were beautiful and clean. It was quiet at night, the A/C worked, and we had no problems with noise or insects.

We stayed at Voco Lake hotel in early July this year and enjoyed our time there. The location beside the main square is hard to beat, and there's a secure gated lot for parking. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are courteous. It seems to be a newer hotel, and they're still working through some small details. I won't list them here, but they did bother me. Depending on when you visit, they may have sorted them out. Granada's plumbing is generally poor. The hotel's plumbing worked fine, but both rooms we stayed in often had a strong sewage smell coming from the bathrooms. It's something you'll have to get used to. Keeping the bathroom door shut kept the smell from getting into the room. We'd definitely consider staying here again if we visit Nicaragua.
