Bigfoot Hostel

The rooms were nice, and the pool was a good place to relax. I stayed two nights. It gets cooler in the room during the evening, which makes sense after a sunny, humid day. There are events like beer pong, so it can be fun, but do expect some noise at night when choosing where to stay. I booked the sunrise volcano boarding and Jeter guided us. We left around 3 AM to hike for sunrise. After I slipped and twisted my ankle, he kept checking on me, and I still felt included and enjoyed the hike even at my slower pace. He was patient, friendly, and informative, and the boarding was beautiful. The front desk staff were also kind, helpful, and happy to answer my questions. They were useful on WhatsApp after booking, too, helping with arrangements for both the stay and the boarding. I’d recommend staying here and doing the sunrise trip.

The volcano boarding trip was one of the best day trips we’ve done, and the chicken bus ride was an epic party. The staff and volunteers worked so hard to keep the mood upbeat all day and helped people along the hike. Josua was especially great, and he was kind when my girlfriend felt nervous at the top. A must-do in Leon.

The ride down the volcano was a huge adrenaline rush, and it felt safely and professionally managed, so we could enjoy it. Bigfoot had everything organized well, and I felt looked after the whole time. From the start, there were great vibes, laughter, music, and lots of positive energy. The people were open and fun, and it felt like one big family. There was a bit of alcohol and plenty of laughs, too. The place, the emotions, and the atmosphere all came together into an unforgettable adventure. Thank you, Bigfoot!

I did two volcano trips with Bigfoot, and both were fun, safe, and well run. Booking was straightforward, and they gave me a free tee-shirt. Bigfoot did a good job keeping things smooth and enjoyable. Pamela made one trip unforgettable. She was hilarious, organized, and explained everything clearly, while making sure everyone felt safe and respected and keeping the energy up. Thanks to cammi for supporting her. The other trip didn’t come close to what Pamela created, though I still enjoyed the whole experience.
