I stayed for about a week in August, then left after a frightening confrontation with the owner, Jean Paul. When I asked a neighbor to stop hammering on my wall at 7:30 in the morning, they kept doing what seemed to be construction. Jean Paul also owned the building that houses the sleeping dog. He came to my door screaming and banging so hard he broke the hinges. I asked for a refund for the rest of my month-long stay and left. I’ve heard that Jean Paul was accused of raping two female employees months apart, who didn’t know each other. I can’t verify those accusations, but they contributed to my concern. In my experience, there was chaos every day, and he seemed to hate Nicaraguans. He struck me as one of the most racist people I’ve met.

It’s such a nice, quiet place, and they have free Canadian-style pancakes every day. The room was so cozy I had a hard time getting myself out of bed! Ha ha, stay here.

The rooms are roomy, and there’s a friendly Saint Bernard and a cat. It’s a really nice place, and I’m planning to extend my stay.

A good place to get some rest. The kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, and big common area were all good. Nothing to complain about.

Zero stars. I went by today, and the neighbors told me it had closed recently. It looks like it’s permanently shut.
