The owner’s son was very polite and helpful. The location is great, the room was clean and comfortable, and the price was good value. The A/C works really well, too. The bathroom was pretty dirty and definitely needed much more cleaning. We had no water for the shower during our stay, though I don't think that was the hotel's fault. I believe it was a municipal issue at the time.

I had everything I needed for a relaxing stay, and the service was very pleasing. My room was clean and comfortable, and the location is great. You can't beat the price. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone spending a holiday in Leon. Thank you to Hotel el Portal 1610 for making my stay so pleasant.

We spent four days here and will definitely return next time we're in León. My girlfriend and I found the rooms spacious and comfortable, with a big balcony upstairs. The WiFi was strong and fast throughout the property, and breakfast was included and very good. The family running the hotel are really nice and helpful, and speak both English and Spanish. It's in a great, safe spot, with bars, restaurants, markets, museums, and shops just a couple of minutes' walk away.

There were four of us in one big room with two double beds and a single, and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was included, with three options. The pancakes were delicious, and my girlfriend loved the Nica breakfast with eggs, rice and beans, cheese, and plantains.

Good prices, really clean rooms, and excellent service. The A/C works at full strength, too. It's a great place to stay and relax, and I'd definitely recommend this hotel in León. :-)
