The rooms are big, though you might have to share yours with a few ants. This garden-paradise hostal is next to the university and close to one of the main bus hubs, in family hand's. We arrived in the evening and the grandfather greeted us. He didn't speak English, and we know very little Spanish, but he patiently explained how to get around town, arranged a taxi, and told the driver where to take us and what to charge.

The family were so friendly, and I highly recommend staying here. Our room was large with its own bathroom, in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful garden. A really lovely place.

A clean, private, safe hostel with good owners and wifi. It's near the mall area, and you can walk to both a grocery store and the lake.

The food is good, the beers are always cold, and the prices are about right. Highly suggested.
