Hotel Munch

For a quick stop before my flight, this place did what I needed. It was clean, the AC and Wi-Fi worked well, and staff even arranged an inDriver when I left at 2 a.m. The airport was only about a 10-minute drive away, maybe less.

It’s easy to book, fairly priced for somewhere near the airport, and breakfast comes with the stay. The staff are friendly and always accommodating, and the rooms have AC. Every time I come back, I remember why I like it here. They’ve got a repeat guest in me.

We were only here overnight before our flight, and the convenient location worked out well. The room was cozy, comfortable, and clean, and breakfast was already waiting for us in the morning. The ladies were welcoming and kind, and there were a few cats around looking for food and pets.

The street up to the hotel is a bit run-down, so after dark I’d take a taxi instead of walking. Even though it’s near the airport, drivers still charge $10 for the trip. I liked the place and didn’t feel unsafe. The protective metal frame at the entrance seemed standard, as did the rest of the setup, much like at most hotels in Nicaragua.
