After a long run of flights, it was such a relief to arrive to a clean room and get some rest. Pali is about two blocks away, and there are lots of little places serving local food. Breakfast and coffee were included, and the scrambled eggs with tortilla were delicious. The family who run the hotel are warm and friendly, speak English, and were happy to try to answer all our questions. Our first night here was excellent.

Local eateries are only a few minutes' walk away, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. It's a great family-run hotel close to the airport. Breakfast is included from 8-10am, with cereal, toast, eggs, tortilla, coffee, and tea. If you're staying in Managua, check in here.

The smiling dueña of Balcon Real is always there to greet us, and she's a kind woman who looks after the place well. It's an inexpensive stay, about $25 a room, and a taxi from the airport costs around $6-7. You get a TV, bathroom, towel, wifi, and a light breakfast. Reserve or email ahead, and you can arrive any time, 24/7.

The reception guy is super helpful and friendly, and they'll store your things for free. That could be handy if you're leaving some luggage before heading to corn islands. A great place to stay before or after a flight.
