For $20-30 a night, I think the quality is about what you’d expect. It’s an older hotel, but clean. I didn’t see any cockroaches, the beds are comfortable, and the air conditioning works well. The restaurant on site is fantastic and reasonably priced. That’s more than good enough for me, and I’d recommend it to budget travelers.

I had a wonderful one-night stay with no hiccups. The hotel itself is beautiful, the prices are amazing, and breakfast was great. The staff are so nice and incredibly helpful. Definitely worth a stay if you’re in Managua.

I keep coming back to Hotel Mozonte for the excellent service and attention. The staff are very courteous, and it’s a clean, safe place to stay in Managua, with 24/7 security. The amenities are always in good shape, and the location is great, just two blocks from a supermarket and a mini mall. There are also plenty of restaurants and coffee places near the hotel. I recommend it 100% and look forward to coming back again.

The included breakfast was a big help in the mornings. Otherwise, the stay was okay, but the bathroom was in rough shape and the toilet seemed to be falling apart almost every day. The staff were loud in the hallways early in the morning, making it hard to rest. We tried the pool twice, and it wasn’t clean either. With some improvements, this place could be much better.

The pool was in good shape, though the pool area could use more shade and vegetation. Prices were decent, and I’ll come back for another round. The rooms are seriously outdated, and the bathrooms badly need renovation, even though everything was working. The staff seemed stressed in general and could smile a bit more. The conference-room breakfast buffet felt too quiet and odd, and the food was basic. Lunch was so-so and could be better. Update: I stayed again on my return trip. The rooms are all different, and the staff seemed a bit nicer.
