Hotel Villa Angelo

The night hostess was fantastic, but the rest of the stay left a lot to be desired. At 50$ American a night, it felt expensive and not worth the price. We switched to hotel cabanitas, where we’re paying 20$ a night, and it feels like home with great service.

Breakfast was included and was an excellent typical meal. There’s also soda, juices & cerveza for sale, and laundry with a dryer so clothes don’t get mildewed. The facilities are clean and set in a garden atmosphere. The only drawback was the slow internet, so don’t expect to stream Netflix.

The staff are very friendly, which was a plus. But the rooms are small, breakfast choices are limited, and there’s no hot water. The walls are so thin you can hear everything people in the next room are doing and saying.

This works well if you’re mostly out sightseeing. The location and staff are good, and breakfast is included. There’s a fritangeria infront and cacao sell two doors down if you can’t get lunch or dinner outside. Laundry is available too, and they sell refreshments.
