Hotel Xolotla N

They seemed to care mostly about collecting money, and the service, food, loud music, and staff attitude were all disappointing. We’d paid for almost 2 weeks when they canceled our reservation just 3 days later. They showed no respect and could do better for tourists. It’s a shame, because Nicaragua is a beautiful country. I wasn’t impressed by the fake reviews.

I booked 2 nights but ended up leaving after 1. The music was loud from 8am until 11pm, and they didn’t seem to care that I was trying to sleep. I also had to ask twice for breakfast, which took a whole hour. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who wants somewhere clean and quiet or expects good service. The place looks nothing like the pictures, kind of a scam.

The rooms were great and clean, and the staff were super friendly. They went out of their way to welcome us and make sure we had what we needed. It was a wonderful stay, and I’d definitely come back and recommend it.

The hosts were so kind and friendly, especially Luis and his wonderful mother. I loved the homelike feel and the local art around the place. I’ll always dream of coming back. Can’t recommend it enough!
