The bed was comfy, the TV worked, and the A/C made the room feel like Alaska 😎. But I barely slept. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes, the bathroom had a sewage odor, and the doors creaked like they belonged in a haunted house. A club nearby kept blasting music until 2 a.m., then noise from what seemed like a daycare in the lobby woke me before 7. Even earplugs didn’t help much.

The room looked clean, though there were old bars of soap left in the shower. The A/C also kept dripping water whenever it was running. Our night was awful: Hang Over, a bar about 50 meters away, played very loud music until 3 a.m. on Sunday. I know that may be outside the hotel's control, but guests should be warned so they can choose, especially at $50 a night. The hotel is okay for a short stay otherwise.

The staff are lovely, and someone is always keeping an eye on the place, 24/7. I had a private room and bathroom, with A/C, a TV, a clothes rack, and nightstands. You can also buy water, Coke, and juice there. I really enjoyed my stay, and my group and I plan to come back on our next visit!

The host was so kind when we arrived late, and offered coffee and a light breakfast the next morning. Our room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and A/C. It's a great place to sleep for a night while passing through Masaya. Too bad there aren't more reviews, this place deserves its rating.

Sophie was a big help and can arrange a taxi if you want to visit the volcano. The place was comfortable and really clean.
