One person was handling all the work, so it sometimes took patience, though the lady was amazing, helpful, and sweet. The property itself is beautiful, with a lush garden, and the infrastructure, bedding, and fixtures all feel premium. It’s very comfortable, even luxurious, and close to the city center and a nice residential area while still being quiet. But this is very much a B&B. There’s a huge locked gate and it’s the only way in or out, so you have to ring the bell every time. I found that uncomfortable since I’m used to coming and going from my room freely, especially at night when I visit Matagalpa. It’s also expensive, and breakfast is very limited for what you pay.

The botanical gardens are gorgeous, and walking in makes the place even more breathtaking. They also grow their signature Family Coffee. I had a great stay, with a wonderful, clean room, great amenities, and incredibly helpful staff. It’s the best hotel I’ve ever been lucky enough to stay at.

The hotel felt like home, thanks to the welcoming, kind staff. I had a great stay, and the location and cleanliness were both spot on.

The room was really nice, the breakfast was pretty good, and the people working there were lovely. I’d highly recommend staying here if you visit town. I really liked the place and it may be the nicest hotel in Matagalpa, though it’s actually meant to be a bed and breakfast. Check-in was a bit of a hassle since it doesn’t work like a regular hotel: you have to call ahead to say you’re coming, then go through the check-in process. We waited outside for 15 minutes so we could park the car inside. That part was a drag, and breakfast was small and basic.
