Our room was quiet despite being right in the very central part of town, in front of the central Park. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had a very comfortable king bed. The AC worked well, too. The hotel is beautiful, with well-maintained architecture. Check out the terrace view, pool, restaurant, and ice cream shop. Great value and location.

If you’re taking a Tica Bus to Costa Rica, the stop is only a 10-minute walk away. We found this the best hotel we stayed at in Nicaragua, and a very good place to stay in Rivas. It has historical decor, and the room was spacious, clean, and functional. Breakfast was tasty, and the hotel’s right in the town centre.

The location right on the square is perfect, and breakfast was fantastic. You can order whatever you want from the restaurant. After three sleepless nights in the heat, I wanted to treat myself to a nice room, and it did the job. The upper-floor rooms have very high ceilings that make you feel like you’re in a castle. They face the inner courtyard, though, so there isn’t much natural light or airflow. I really missed having filtered water available, both for convenience and to cut down on bottled water. A morning coffee station would be nice, too.

The location is right in the centre of Rivas, and the pool is very cool. We stayed four nights in total and had a great time. The rooms are big and luxurious, and breakfast is great with plenty of options. The staff are VERY nice and really try to make your stay the best. This seems like the best hotel in Rivas. We’d come back if we’re ever in town again.
