Chale's House

Chale’s Hotel felt like a calm little refuge in the middle of a hectic town. Once inside, the clean spaces and comfortable chill area made it easy to relax. The property is clearly cared for, and the rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. The air conditioning worked flawlessly, and hot water in the shower was a big plus in this area. What stood out most was the staff. They were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, treating us with care. A peaceful, beautiful place to stay, and highly recommended.

I traveled solo, a single, semi-retired woman, and felt safe here. The rooms were great, and the place looked nice. It’s a great base, with the ocean and places to eat an easy walk away. The staff were great too. If you want to relax in your room in the evenings, bring earplugs or headphones because other guests can be chatty. Thanks!

They helped me figure out the route from Managua, which I really appreciated, and even moved me from a single room to a twin room for a few days at no charge. The staff were friendly and very helpful. There’s a nice patio, plus free drinking water in tanks in each room and in the kitchen. The AC in the single room smelled a little. I mentioned it to the staff, so hopefully they’ll clean it.

The staff were helpful with pretty much anything, and it’s an easy walk to the beach with shops and restaurants nearby. The place has a great atmosphere, clean rooms, and a shared kitchen. One of the nicest spots I’ve stayed in. I’d definitely come back someday.
