The free breakfast, juice, and coffee were all great and nicely presented. They offer a different set menu each morning. The rooms and bathroom were very clean, and ours had a lovely balcony. There was a good safe in the room, and the night watchman helped us feel secure. The garden is beautiful, with a hammock, and laundry is available for $8usd. Wifi worked quickly and reliably both in our room and the lobby. It's in a stellar location, with helpful staff and a nice atmosphere. The same owner has a more luxurious hotel right next door if you want extras like a pool. We'd happily stay here again.

We'd looked around a lot before finding this place, and it was the first with hot water and a proper shower. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious. Breakfast is included, the staff speak English, and a guard watches the building at night. There's a Samsung smart tv and a kitchen guests can use. Everything was very clean, and it's close to the shops and other places in San Juan del Sur. I'd definitely come back.

At $50, it was worth paying $20 more than a subpar hostel. We tried five places in San Juan del Sur, priced from $30-$130, and this was the only one with hot water and reliable wifi in the room. The receptionist spoke really good English and was super kind. The rooms were clean and quite large, and the free breakfast was really good. There aren't TVs in the rooms, but there's one in the shared main area. Since it's on the outskirts of town, nights and mornings were quieter than at the other places we stayed. Would recommend.

A little hidden gem in San Juan Del Sur. It's comfortable, safe, welcoming, personal, and homey. My favourite boutique hotel in town, and one of the best I've experienced anywhere. There are only a handful of rooms, so book ahead :)

For $50, it was good, though not great. The breakfast was good too, and the place did what I needed. The staff were very friendly and spoke English really well.
