We’ve stayed here three times over the past few years and have always been happy to return. The rooms and apartments are clean and full of character, the hosts are very friendly and always ready to listen, and breakfast is really good. It’s a peaceful neighborhood with plenty of nature around, yet centrally located, so you can reach everything worth seeing quickly by car. A great place to unwind. We highly recommend it and will definitely come back.

The Terrace Cottage at Prins Hendrik Bnb had everything we could have wanted, and it was spotless with everything working properly. The owners were lovely hosts who helped us out with tips and made sure we had a great stay. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this Bnb.

The breakfast was a decent continental one, but the coffee from the machine was really bad and far too bitter. There were disposable plastic cups in the bathroom where you’d usually find glasses for brushing your teeth or having tap water. We didn’t feel welcome. My friend was rolling a cigarette and I was rolling a joint, which is legal here, to take away and consume off the premises. A woman suddenly came out of the B&B and shouted that she didn’t want to see drugs and that we were on private property, without giving us time to explain what was happening. If you don’t want to risk being verbally assaulted by a host, this place isn’t for you. Avoid!

I booked a room for 75€ and arrived at 20 after an accident delayed me and kept me from reaching the hotel. They refused to let me check in, saying nobody was there after 18 and that my being late wasn’t their problem. I wasn’t refunded any of my money, not even half, despite never checking in. I guess ghosts will use my bedding and eat my breakfast, since I had to pay anyway. Horrific experience. The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Avoid this place, I don’t recommend it!

After a lovely tour around North Holland, we woke up feeling refreshed at the B&B. The breakfast was delicious and the people were lovely. We’ll definitely return and spread the word! Petra
