We came back and booked another night for the return leg, which says a lot about how much we enjoyed our stay. The place is peaceful but still close to shops, and everything is on one level, with roomy open-plan bedrooms and bathrooms that should work well for guests with mobility issues or disabilities. The apartment was spotless, thoughtfully laid out, and beautifully decorated. There’s a nice outdoor seating area, free tea and coffee, and a lovely breakfast. Our hosts made us feel so welcome and were happy to help with anything. I really couldn’t fault it. Thanks for having us, we hope to visit again soon 😁

The breakfast buffet was really good, and the beds were the best I’ve slept in for a long time. A lovely B&B just outside Almelo, with a tidy room and nice interior design.

We’ve stayed with Ben and Chantal three times now, and it’s a lovely place to relax. The room is spacious and beautiful, with a stunning view, a comfortable bed, and a roomy bathroom. Coffee and tea are ready in the room, and breakfast is top-notch. Ben and Chantal are easygoing and very welcoming. Everything’s just right. Greetings from the Markusse family.

I’ve never posted a Google review before, so I was curious about how it works 🙈. What prompted me was seeing a review with a rating of 2. We’d actually welcome tips and advice from people who have stayed with us, which is why booking sites ask guests to rate the accommodation they used. Google asks, “How was your stay?” But people who haven’t stayed with us can answer too, and that’s a shame. It makes it hard to get a fair picture from the reviews.

A generous breakfast, really comfortable beds, and a lovely luxurious bathroom with a bathtub. The place feels warm and is decorated with taste. We had a fantastic stay, with a great host and hostess. A solid 10 across the board. The van Rossum family.
