Kamp street seems to be one of the nicest parts of town. The hotel is just steps from the old centre, with plenty of shops and restaurants, and a small Spar grocery store right next door. We had a very nice three-night stay in early August 2023. The owners were quick to answer our questions at check-in, and offered us a later checkout when it looked as though we might get caught in the rain. We appreciated it, especially as the room was apparently open on the night we left. The hotel has two ground-floor rooms behind a commercial space that's not currently being used as a business. The owners live upstairs. An electronic fob opens the commercial-space front door and our room door, which was easy to use and felt secure. The owners also let us store our tandem bike in the commercial space, which we really appreciated. Our room was stylishly furnished and decorated. The back wall is mostly glass, with doors opening onto a beautifully landscaped courtyard shared with the other room. There are partitions so each room has a semi-private area. We didn't hear any street noise.

The accommodation is stylishly furnished and very central, with an easy check-in and checkout. It's a shame the owners still haven't replied to the list of issues I submitted. That's not what good hospitality should be.

We enjoyed the delicious breakfast outside in the seating area. The location is great, within walking distance of the city centre, and there's a small supermarket right next to the hotel for groceries. The room was lovely, atmospheric, and beautifully decorated, but a bit cramped for two people at times. I also missed having space by the sink for toiletries and a few hooks to hang a towel.

The building was freezing, and we had an unpleasantly cold night. The room's air conditioning can also heat, but it wasn't enough for winter. Getting up the next morning for a shower didn't help. The water was just as cold, and the five-minute shower limit meant two people didn't have enough time. There's a brochure about the water heater and sustainability, but you only find that out afterward. For the price, this isn't worth it. Two stars, and this was our last time. It was nicely decorated and in a good city location, but that couldn't make up for the cold.

A lovely small-scale hotel/B&B for a boudoir getaway, tastefully decorated and in a handy location. There are two ground-floor rooms that open onto a cosy courtyard garden. The internet could be a bit faster.
