Hotel Aadam Wilhelmina

We stayed three nights and were satisfied with the hotel overall. The receptionist was very nice and welcoming. Our room was in a separate building, and the steep, eccentric Dutch stairs made for an authentic experience. The room was fine, though the water pressure could have been better. The location is wonderful, close to tram 2, which makes it easy to reach the city center and many sights.

We had a comfortable king bed and a good-sized room for two, and the staff were attentive and nice throughout our wonderful week. The location is fantastic, with a tram stop right outside that goes to most of the main tourist spots. We also walked to many nearby destinations. Getting back to the airport was easy too. We walked about 10 minutes to a bus that took us straight there. Highly recommended.

The only real drawback for me was the lack of an elevator. I’m too old for those steep stairs 😓. The young woman at reception was adorable, warm, and helpful, always greeting people with a disarming smile. The neighborhood is very nice, within walking distance of the City Center and museum square. The hotel is a bit old-fashioned, but everything was fine. Good value for the price.

We slept really well in a quiet, comfortable room after busy days out. The hotel was spotless, and the staff made things easy throughout. There were plenty of restaurants a short walk away, and public transit was nearby, so getting around to explore was simple.
