Amsterdam Jewel Canal Apartments

We loved staying in Emerald. The main living room has a great vintage, retro feel, and the apartment is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there’s a handy supermarket about five minutes away on foot. It’s 71 steps up, but that means almost no street noise, plus views from the big windows. My favorite was looking out over Amsterdam’s rooftops at the back. The location is great too, about a 15-minute walk to Central Station and 20 minutes to the Rijksmuseum.

We’ve been staying at the Amsterdam Jewel apartments since 2012 and have loved them. We’ve tried Amber, Pearl, and Ruby over the years, each with its own charming decor. They all have large, bright windows and are thoughtfully equipped with quality linens, cookware, and dishes. The owners are wonderful, so nice, and seem to anticipate every need. Highly recommend!

The apartment was beautiful and clean, with an amazing canal view. Just be aware there’s no elevator.

Jojo was quick to answer my questions before the trip, and the Ruby apartment was a lovely place to stay. It had a canal view, pretty decor, and a cosy feel, right in the centre. I appreciated having a coffee machine and some nice teas too. I'd already like to come back.
