We had a spacious family room with a good view, and the beds were really comfortable. Coffee was replenished each day, and breakfast was very good, with helpful staff there too. The hotel is handy for the museum quarter, and trams make it easy to get around Amsterdam. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend it.

The hotel itself was nice, but the rooms didn't feel anywhere close to five-star. Our shower was poor, there was cracked glass in the room, and the air conditioning gave us trouble. A dog in a nearby room barked until 11 pm. Reception said they'd look into it, but nothing came of that during our three-night stay. I wouldn't return.

Breakfast was fresh and had plenty of variety, and the team made a warm, attentive start to our day. Special thanks to HANG, SELN, IMOXA and DARIA for being so welcoming. Our room was modern, comfortable and stylish, with elegant decor that reflected the culture. The Amsterdam Marriott Hotel's location also made exploring easier, and we had an excellent stay, even though it was a short one.

The room cleaning was a real letdown compared with the rest of the stay. We had to switch rooms because of the bathroom's condition, and the replacement was only a little better. On several days, the room was only partly cleaned, with the housekeeper mostly just making the bed. The concierge and reception staff, though, were very kind and helpful throughout our week, and the location was very good. They helped make the stay a nice experience.

Jodi made check-in such a warm welcome. She was professional, noticed my Silver Elite status right away, and kindly upgraded me to a family room at no charge. I also used the Marriott Bonvoy app for express checkout, which was smooth and convenient. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. I appreciated the hospitality at Marriott Amsterdam and would happily stay again.
