The apartment has useful basics, including a kettle, microwave, fridge, and washing machine, and being fairly central is a plus. The shower pressure, though, is abysmal. A heads-up about the stairs for anyone with limited mobility, children, or who simply dislikes stairs. They're extremely steep, around 45 degrees by my guess, with twisting corners and about 20 steps over three metres, rising at least three metres for one level. Amsterdam houses often have steep stairs because they're narrow and long, so it's not necessarily bad planning, but these felt nearly impossible.

I’d never seen a statue as beautiful as this one. It really caught my eye.

Our bus ran late, so we arrived after the expected time. The woman was so kind that she came to bring us the keys while she was cooking. The apartment was nice, with a bathroom shared with another room. Towels and dishes were in the room, along with a little fridge, and we had Wi-Fi too.

The accommodation was excellent, and it was cleaned well.
