Banks Mansion

I paid 200 euro a night, and it was worth every penny. This place has a unique feel, with free soft drinks, beer, alcohol from 6 pm until midnight, cocktails, and a free minibar. They also make a delicious Aperol spritz here, and it’s free. Highly recommend. If you drink alcohol, save your money and come here.

Banks Mansion is very central, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. I had a wonderful stay with my Mum. Max was friendly, enthusiastic, and especially helpful with food and activity suggestions and directions. The wine and cheese were fantastic, and breakfast was lovely. The welcoming staff made fresh omelets and pancakes. I’d highly recommend it. 😊

I spent two weeks in Europe, starting my trip at Banks Mansion, then came back to Amsterdam for my last two nights. I really can’t say enough about the place. The open bar is available 24/7, there are snacks through the day, and a full breakfast with a chef each morning. But the people are what made it special. Max and Shafani at the front desk were incredibly warm and accommodating. They patiently answered all my many tourist questions, and I left wishing we could be friends. They’re some of the loveliest people I’ve met anywhere. Jaymen and Nando were impressively kind and professional, especially for being so young. Maura made breakfast feel personal and special every morning. I already miss the fresh juice and omelets. The whole team deserves a raise. This is one of my favorite hotels in Europe, and I’ll be back!

I’ve stayed at Banks over ADE for about four years, and the all-inclusive setup works perfectly for a work hotel. It makes pre-dinner drinks and meetings really easy. The location is amazing, the staff excellent, and breakfast good, though not great. But this was my first stay without a Tony’s chocolate bar in the fridge. After a late night at ADE or a stressful day of meetings, that was always the highlight. Its disappearance was genuinely heartbreaking. #BringBackTheTonys
