We were so sad to leave. The rooms were gorgeous and spotless, in an amazing spot next to the park. Paul and Karen were wonderful hosts, leaving us thoughtful treats like delicious berry gin, pillow chocolate and stroopwaffles, and sharing lots of helpful tips. Even details like USB sockets beside every bed had been considered. They went above and beyond. Thank you so much!

Our apartment was a great base for exploring the city, with Tram 2 and 17 nearby and Vondelpark just around the corner, including a fun playground and lovely cafe. The room was bright and open, with an outdoor balcony where the adults could enjoy a glass of vino. Paul and Karen were incredibly generous. The fridge was stocked, they surprised us with a fresh local breakfast on the first day, and there were daily treats for the children. The room was immaculate and worked so well for our kids. The stay was so good that the family mostly wanted to relax in instead of heading out!

Paul and Karen's home was a pleasure to stay in. The bright, cheerful room looks out on a canal beside the house, and there are plenty of restaurants very close by. The hosts came in to straighten up and check that we were happy, which we were. They also gave us clear, detailed directions in English for getting around Amsterdam, easy to follow. They were so kind and generous, more than we expected. On our first day they brought breakfast for the whole family, and they left treats each day and stocked the fridge with goodies. We can't say enough about how happy we were with the home and our hosts. One thing to keep in mind: Amsterdam houses are narrow and tall, so getting to the room means climbing steep stairs. That could be a problem if you have physical limitations.

Paul made our April 12-15, 2024 visit memorable, and we really enjoyed going on a canal ride with him. The beautiful apartment was impeccably clean, and he was very accommodating. It's close to restaurants, and you can walk to a tram stop for downtown. There are two steep flights of stairs to reach the apartment. The railings make them safe, but it could be difficult if you can't manage stairs. Thank you, Paul!

We really appreciated the breakfast, delicious snacks and all the thoughtful little details. Paul was professional, welcoming, incredibly nice and full of useful information, and the service was quick. There are restaurants, laundry and groceries nearby. The place is right by Vondelpark, and the city centre is a pleasant walk away. This was the most comfortable and best stay of our trip. Thanks so much, Paul and Karen!
