The room was a highlight, with river views, a huge bed and bathtub, plus a private cinema screen with a built-in Fire Stick. The decor looked recently refurbished, and you can tell the owners take pride in it. We stayed in letter E. Getting into the city was easy on the free ferries, while the Botel itself was far enough away to feel peaceful. We could watch the ferry from our window and time our walk to catch it. Reception staff were helpful and explained what we needed to know. We arrived a few hours before check-in and were delighted that the room and keys were ready early. We'd just come home from a long weekend and already loved the stay enough to book again. My one small gripe: there's a drinks vending machine at night, but no snacks. It'd be nice to have another machine with food.

We had a memorable stay in a peaceful, unusual spot, with the free ferry right outside making it only a few minutes to the center. The Botel has a cosy bar and café area, and lovely water views. Our Letter L room had plenty of space and character, with stylish decor. The main drawback was the heating. Since the room is on two levels, heat went up to the mezzanine bedroom and made it extremely hot at night, while downstairs could feel very cold, especially in the mornings. That made the comfort uneven. Still, it was a great base for exploring Amsterdam, and we really enjoyed the experience.

The check-in and check-out were easy, and the place offered plenty of privacy. Letter „E“ had a lovely interior and a fantastic view. There's a supermarket nearby, along with restaurants and a museum. We had a great New Year 2025-2026, thank you. We'll be back!

Those five letter lofts are the most unusual hotel rooms I've ever seen, each with its own theme. The Botel sits on a large boat at the quay in Amsterdam's up-and-coming creative hub, Noeth NDSM. You can spot it from Central Station, though getting to NDSM means taking the free ferry, about 15 minutes. From the deck there's a magnificent view of the waterfront and thebCnetral Station. This has to be Amsterdam's quirkiest hotel.

The free ferry from Amsterdam Centraal makes getting here easy, and the loft has a great view. Reception was also very kind and helpful. That said, the loft we stayed in needs serious renovation. There were cracks in the wall, rust around the bathtub, dirty windows, and dirty glasses. The experience was good, but it didn't feel worth the price.
