I didn’t expect the canal-view room to be so quiet, especially right on the edge of the red light district. I wasn’t bothered by noise at all, and opening the bathroom door to find a gorgeous bathtub was a lovely surprise. The old building is a bit of a maze, with twists, turns and lots of stairs. Sometimes you have to go up to get down, but the signs are good. It’s a quick, fairly easy walk to Amsterdam central station, which is handy if you’re using public transit, and everything else is within walking distance too.

My room had a stunning view, and the staff were amazing. I’d booked a city-view room, but for my birthday they surprised me with a beautiful canal-view room. I was so happy and grateful for the present. The location is perfect too.

After my flight was cancelled, Hotel CC managed to get me a room at midnight. I booked online and was in bed within 20 minutes. I chose a single room, which is incredibly small, but it’s just right if all you need is somewhere to sleep and shower. The location is incredibly convenient, the staff are direct and easy to talk to, and my €100 damage fee came back at 5pm as promised. It’s a no-hassle hotel, and I’d absolutely recommend it. I’ll stay there again next time I’m in Amsterdam! :)

It’s about a 10-minute walk to Amsterdam Central train station, and the room has a desk and a place to hang clothes. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a lift, though there are still a few stairs in different areas.

A handy place to crash while exploring Amsterdam. It’s very close to the station and on a great street full of cafes and shops. Dam Square is only six minutes away, with all the shopping around it. Good value, clean rooms and a hot shower.
