They kept our money even though we couldn't stay. Our flight was cancelled at the last minute, and they wouldn't let us rebook, even for an off-peak time like November. They wouldn't offer a direct date swap or even a 25% refund. A terrible experience, and I won't stay here.

The room was comfortable and the location was good. It had a little fridge, but I wished there'd been a kettle too.

We were in a great spot for seeing Amsterdam, with the tram right outside and just three stops to Central Station. Most big attractions, including the Van Gogh Museum, Red Light District and Rijksmuseum, were within walking distance. For such a central location, the price was very reasonable. Our room was large, nicely decorated and had reliable Wi-Fi. The private bathroom was small but clean. The stairs up to the rooms are very narrow, though apparently that's typical of Amsterdam architecture. One important thing: room payment is cash only.

Right in the center, but the place is genuinely tiny. The staircase is so tight that hauling bags upstairs is going to be a nightmare.
