Coco's Outback Apartments

The place is huge and the decor is interesting, though not especially impressive. We stopped in during the afternoon for beers and onion rings. I asked for a brown beer, specifically an Affigem Dubbel, but the server brought a Trippel I didn't like, so I was out 6.40€. I ordered the correct beer through the QR code, but another server brought a blond beer and insisted it was right when I said it wasn't mine. I couldn't believe I had to argue to prove which beer I'd ordered twice. He took it back and eventually brought the one I wanted. The onion rings were okay, but there weren't many for the price. I wouldn't recommend spending much time or money here.

The wings were the reason I kept coming back, and the food itself was good. We already had a waiter who took our order, but another server came over halfway through dinner and pushed us to close our table so she could start a new tab. When I said we would just order through our waiter, she replied aggressively that they don't keep tables open. I asked her to get our waiter instead, who came over and served us without a problem. Five minutes later, the assistant manager showed up demanding payment and asking why we'd been rude to his server. We explained what had happened, but he refused to serve us any further. I own a restaurant, and I'd never want anyone to feel the way I did. I was so upset I spat out my food, lost my appetite, and just wanted to leave. It's horrendous, and their response is always the same. The people working for the owner are going to cost him a lot of business. Get your staff in line or you'll feel the consequences. I'm not the only one complaining about how awful this place is. Look at the response I got. They just don't care.

One of my favorite bars in Dam. We had a great day because we'd booked the all inclusive drinks package for my stag party. The staff were really good, especially the blonde Australian girl who looked after us. I can't remember her name, but we each gave her a decent tip. Excellent service.

The music was the one good part. We waited around 40 minutes for food in a place that wasn't busy, and apart from the fries, none of it tasted nice. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came medium well. By then I was so hungry I just wanted to eat and leave. The place was filthy. There were dead bugs on the TV screens, and our table looked like it hadn't been cleaned after the previous customer. It seemed like it could be a good spot for food and drinks, so I was really disappointed. I wouldn't come back.
