The hosts were friendly, and the space has an eclectic feel. The breakfast was pretty disappointing: old fruit, a tiny piece of bacon, an egg, and low-quality bread, though one morning there were a few small, decent croissants. There was also heavy construction right outside the house and canal-room windows to reinforce the canal walls. It affected access, and we hadn’t been told about it when booking. Okay experience.

We really enjoyed the breakfast, and the hosts were engaging and lovely to talk with. Our room looked out over the canal, and the train station was an easy walk away. A fun place to stay.

We stayed in the back room, where the stairs are steep but manageable. It’s a cosy, authentic B&B in a quiet, pretty part of town, with many attractions close by.

The owners were especially friendly and attentive, and our clean room was nicely furnished. It’s easy to get here from the train station, and we had a lovely view of a gracht in central Amsterdam. The price was fair through a well-known booking platform, and booking directly with them was even cheaper.

We had the large room overlooking the canal, and the location and breakfast were both great. The hosts were great, too. I stayed here two years ago and still think fondly of it. Wish I could go back.
