Hotel Artemis Amsterdam

The superior room was great, but the tea selection was limited and it was mostly coffee pods. There was an iron but no kettle in the room. The gym is tiny, so it’s not much use if you want a proper workout.

The area was calm and pleasant, with a nice restaurant nearby. It’s a bit outside central Amsterdam, though tram 2 is an option, along with other transport. The hotel itself was clean and well equipped. We often had to wait a long time for the elevator because only one was working. Breakfast was tasty, and the staff were kind enough to keep our luggage after we checked out so we could enjoy the rest of our time in Amsterdam before leaving.

The staff were very helpful, and they let us store our luggage after checkout, which came in handy. The gym is small but functional. It’s a little off the beaten track, though trams make it easy to get into central Amsterdam.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff are lovely, and there’s a tram stop not far away. There isn’t much around, but there’s a nearby spar shop that sells lovely food. We stayed four nights and asked for the room to be cleaned when the bins were full, but no cleaner came during our stay. We had to get fresh towels and a bin bag from reception.
