Hotel Levell

We stayed one night in a double room, and it was just what I wanted: modern, very clean and with a bed I slept really well in. It’s especially handy if you’re traveling light or on a schedule, since public transport is so close and getting around was stress-free. I skipped the hotel breakfast. There aren’t coffee shops right in the immediate area, but the vending machines at the entrance made it easy to grab a quick coffee and snack before my train. A comfortable, straightforward base that I’d recommend if you need good transport connections.

The location is good if you’re heading to the Arena. The center is a 30-minute car ride away. Parking costs €20 per day, which isn’t much compared with parking prices in the center. I can gladly recommend this hotel. The rooms are well furnished, with a refrigerator and thick carpet. The beds were comfortable, the lighting was great, and toiletries were provided in the bathroom. A friendly young woman helped us with self check-in, though the other receptionists didn’t seem interested in communicating. Breakfast had plenty of food and good quality and choice, with friendly staff, but it was exactly the same on all three days.

Everything else was very good, including the friendly, helpful reception staff. The hotel had a pleasant atmosphere, good value for the price, and very convenient transport links. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the city center. I only took off one star because there were no slippers or bath mat in the room, both of which I consider important for hygiene.

The triple room felt like a much more luxurious hotel than the price suggested. It was clean and sleek, with a relatively spacious bathroom. There was plenty of room for three single beds, and they were great beds. Each had its own outlet, plus two USB ports at the desk. It takes 20-30 minutes by metro to get downtown, but staying further out was absolutely worth it. At the same rate downtown, three guests would get a bed in a mixed hostel dorm and a shared bathroom. The ride didn’t feel far at all each morning.
