Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Landmark

The window views are lovely, and the building looks modern, with a fashionable industrial style in the rooms. Check-in was quick. But the drawbacks become clear after a while. The hotel takes a hefty 150-euro deposit at check-in. I understand they want to protect the rooms, but at that price I expected luxurious furnishings. Instead, the amenities are basic: no slippers, robes, hair conditioner, or even proper ceramic cups for hot drinks. It doesn’t feel like the advertised four-star hotel, more like a good three-star.

I booked Inntel Amsterdam Landmark by mistake instead of Inntel Amsterdam City, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The room was spacious and spotless, the bed very comfortable, and the facilities were well maintained and better than I expected. The location was excellent too. A special thanks to Jamaih. She may not smile often, but she’s highly professional and efficient, a real asset to the team.

The hotel faces one of the canals, and the view was great. Our two rooms were extremely clean, with fresh towels every day, and the service was fantastic. It was reasonably close to Amsterdam central, and we’d definitely stay again. One of the cleanest hotels we’ve been to. We were four people over the Easter weekend, staying three nights in two twin rooms. The setup worked for my husband and me, but our friends sharing the other room weren’t very close. The bathroom doors are glass. They’re not fully see-through, but you can still make out figures, especially when the lights are on. That wasn’t ideal for friends sharing, though it was more of an inconvenience for us than a fault with the hotel, so still five stars.

The pool and steam room are great, and the welcoming staff make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. The tram gets you into the center in about 10 minutes, while the neighborhood around the hotel keeps getting better every time we visit. We love the Landmark so much that we booked the first night of our honeymoon there. We’ve stayed here three times and have already booked again for April. We also booked their other hotel, Marina Beach, for the rest of our holiday. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants Amsterdam without the busy streets, while still being just a short tram ride away.
